Southern University helds its annual Journalism Conference on Wednesday, April 18 on campus.  Media professionals in television and print and public relations including WAFB Anchor Lauren Westbrook, Anchor Matt Williams and Web Producer Michelle McCalope.

Mayor Kip Holden served as the keynote speaker.

The students received firsthand knowledge of what skills it takes to get a job in the industry.
