Ball for Life hosting Slam Dunk Competition and Three point shootout | Events

Ball for Life is hosting a Slam Dunk Competition and Three-Point Shootout at Baton Rouge Community College's Gym, 201 Community College Drive,  on March 16 at 7:30 p.m.  There is no cost to participate in the event which is open to high school boys and girls. Some of the area's top basketball players are expected to participate.

A school basketball uniform is required to enter the competition.  Dr. Steven Kelley, a cardiologist, will talk about heart health and demonstrate the benefits of EKG screenings. The winner of each competition will receive a trophy, a T-shirt, free EKG tests for their entire Varsity team and of course bragging rights.
