Family-friendly event where more than 40 teams compete for best jambalaya; entertainment to feature Nashville recording artist
Capital Area United Way is throwing a street party you won’t want to miss! United Way’s 25th Annual Jambalaya Jam, sponsored by DOW Chemical Company, is coming back to downtown Baton Rouge on Thursday, Oct. 11 from 5 p.m. 8 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy cold drinks and live entertainment, while sampling some of South Louisiana's best jambalaya from more than 40 competing teams! This year, the Jambalaya Jam will be held in the North Boulevard Town Square and will feature entertainment from local bands After 8 and The Allison Collins Band as well as Nashville recording artist Jana Kramer.
Street Closure
A portion of North Boulevard will be closed for the duration of the day on Thursday, October 11th.

- Jam VIP - $75 See and be seen! Get your all access pass with exclusive benefits only a VIP would receive! Catered hors d’ouevres, massages, specialty drinks and all the perks of the VIP tent.
