Nine people arrested at DWI checkpoint | Crime
Nine people were arrested and 15 traffic citations were issued at a DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) checkpoint last night. Baton Rouge police conducted the checkpoint on 14900 block of Florida Boulevard. A total of 208 vehicles were screened. Police administered 15 standardized field sobriety tests. Additionally, one person was arrested for drinking in a vehicle and one was arrested for possession of a firearm with a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
