Sickle Cell Foundation hosting Community Walk Saturday
The Baton Rouge Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation will host its Community Walk and Run on Saturday, Aug. 25 at Galvez Plaza downtown.
The 5k run starts at 9 a.m. The one mile run and walk starts at 9:30 a.m. Pittsburgh Steelers' Ryan Clark is the official ambassador. WAFB's Michelle McCalope and Donna Britt will participate in the event.
Registration is $20 per person.
