Free Bowling Program returns

Kids Bowl Free is back. Now in its fourth year, KidsBowlFree.com serves more than 1.6 million children in 46 states and Canada each summer.

More than 800 bowling centers participate in the program from coast tocoast which provides kids with two free games of bowling every day all summer. Families must register online at www.kidsbowlfree.com. Then they will begin receiving emailed vouchers valid for two free bowling games each day for a week every Sunday morning from the starting date at their center until the conclusion of the program in their community.

The participating bowling centers in Baton Rouge include Circle Bowl, 8878 Florida Boulevard, and Metro Bowl, 4388 Airline Highway. For more information, go to https://www.kidsbowlfree.com/center.php?alley_id=1657  or https://www.kidsbowlfree.com/center.php?alley_id=1649

On April 11, the official Kids Bowl Free Bus is stopping in Baton Rouge! The official Kids Bowl Free Bus Tour kicks off April 10 in Atlanta. The bus will travel more than 14,000 miles in five weeks-across the country- to spread the word.  The event is open to the public. The goal is to inspire kids to engage in healthy, active lifestyles all summer long.

The Kids Bowl Free Program is also a proud supporter of the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award Challenge (PALA). The Kids Bowl Free Program has teamed up with the PALA program to help encourage the youth and adults of America to adopt more active lifestyles. Now that the Kids Bowl Free Program is officially working with PALA, bowling is not only a recognized, qualified recreational activity to use to qualify for PALA, but bowling participation in the program will be reported regularly to the White House.
